OATMEAL

The Aztecs called amaranth food for the Gods. Amaranth is a high-protein, mineral-rich, gluten-free grain. As a whole grain, it is a great source of folate, B vitamins, and zinc, all of which improve brain function, including memory. It also helps prevent and treat osteoporosis due to high levels of calcium, magnesium, and iron and is a good source of all essential amino acids.

SESAME SEEDS

Sesame seeds are the "open sesame!" of health and nutrition since they contain 19% of all proteins, are a great source of vitamin B and have 55% saturated oils, which permit the dissolving of cholesterol as well as maintaining a nourished skin. Sesame seeds are rich in calcium, phosphorus, niacin, fiberand vitamin E. Half a cup of sesame seeds contains three times more calcium than half a cup of whole milk!

PECAN

Pecans contain more antioxidants than any other nut. The fat found in pecans is mostly polyunsaturated and contains no cholesterol. They also add fiber and contain iron, calcium, vitamins A, B, and C, potassium and phosphorous. And let's not forget the wonderful flavor these nuts have to offer!

ALMOND
